On 3 August 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunwadee Suksaroj, Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, and Executive Director of the ASEAN University Network–Health Promotion Network (AUN-HPN); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyapong Janmaimool, Executive Director of AUN-HPN and Deputy Director for Strategy and International Relations of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, attended a meeting with representatives of the Thai University Network for Health Promotion (TUN-HPN). The meeting aimed to discuss and prepare for the upcoming 19th TUN-HPN Committee Meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Parinya Nakpathom, Vice President for Student Development and Alumni Relations, Burapha University, and Chair of the Thai University Network for Health Promotion (TUN-HPN). It was held at the Ratchaphruek Meeting Room, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, with additional participants joining via Zoom Meeting.
During the meeting, participants discussed the overall meeting format, key activities, and agenda items to be considered at the 19th TUN-HPN Committee Meeting, which will take place on 7 August 2026 at Burapha University, Chonburi Province.
The TUN-HPN Committee Meeting is supported by the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth), which has continuously encouraged universities across Thailand to strengthen their capacity in health promotion and effectively implement the Health Promoting University Framework (HUF). The upcoming meeting will bring together committee members and advisors from universities nationwide to jointly determine strategic directions for advancing the Healthy University policy and strengthening health promotion initiatives across higher education institutions in Thailand
